Woodwork

The details that make a paint job

Woodwork is where a paint job is won or lost. Doors, frames, skirting and balustrades get handled, knocked and weathered more than any wall, and they show every brush mark, drip and missed edge.

We strip back failing coatings, repair and fill damaged timber, prime properly and finish with hard-wearing enamel, or a stain or oil where you want the grain to show. A change of trim colour is also one of the easiest ways to lift the look of a whole house.

FAQ

Woodwork questions

Can you paint or stain timber decks?

Yes. We clean, sand and repair decks, then finish them with a stain, oil or paint to suit the timber and how much foot traffic it gets.

Can you paint just the doors and trims?

Yes. We do woodwork as a stand-alone job, or as part of a bigger interior or exterior repaint.

Can you paint aluminium window frames?

Yes. With the right prep and primer, aluminium frames can be painted to refresh or change their colour.

How long does woodwork painting take?

It depends on how much there is and its condition. A few doors and trims might take a day or two, while a full house of windows or a large deck takes longer. We'll give you a timeframe with your quote.
